The Voices for the Forest is a small, grassroots organization determined to serve as the voice for Shawnee State Forest, located west of Portsmouth, Ohio. Our goal is to protect this immense, 63,747-acre woodland and its inhabitants. It is our hope that many generations will continue to find a piece of heaven in Shawnee as we have for decades.
